CUBA PRECINCT Masterplan

The Cuba Precinct represents one of the largest development sites in Wellington, encompassing the entire block north from 106 Cuba Street to Dixon Street, and west to Victoria Street. The first phase of the development delivered Whitireia WelTec’s state-of-the-art Te Auaha performing arts campus and 800sqm of premium ground floor retail space.

The Farmers Building and the neighbouring buildings at 104-106 Cuba Street form the second phase of the development, which is under construction now and will deliver over 6,000sqm of office space (already fully leased) and over 1,000sqm of premium retail space.

The next phases of the project involve the Victoria Street side of the site, behind the former Farmers Building and Te Auaha campus. Phase three is the base-isolated Victoria Lane Apartments building, which houses the first stage of the Victoria Lane Office Campus on levels 1-3 of the building.

Apartments are now available for purchase at the on-site show suite, which is open for viewings by appointment and the office space is now being marketed for lease.

The final phase of the project will deliver the second stage of the Victoria Lane Office Campus, a seven-storey office building on the corner of Victoria and Dixon Streets.
